Lubricants
are used for the manufacturing and processing of films for bags (see bag materials) and belong to the group of additives. These are amides of fatty acids that avoid the agglutination of the films during film manufacture 9. Alternatively, chemically inert additives can be used, as is the case in the Flexsafe S80 film produced by Sartorius Stedim Biotech.
